Just had the most amazing meal topped with excellent customer service! Hannah is a star for the service she provided us. She was always smiling and very attentive and amazing with my 10 year old son too. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly too.
The food was drool worthy 😋 I got the brie and its literally a whole wedge of brie (its meant to come in a filo pastry but it was a shortcrust pastry, it was so good I didn't even realise the pastry was different till towards the end 😂)
They also overheard my son asking about a toastie and I said there was none on the menu, but Hannah informed us it would not be a problem.
The homemade chips are a must! Also the portions are very generous too. The potato skins were yummy and the husband enjoyed his fish too.
I can seen why it has great reviews. They are well deserved!
Keep up the great work 👍🏻

Response from the owner

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Jessica. We’re thrilled Hannah and the team made your visit special and that your son was well looked after. Apologies for the pastry swap but we’re so glad you loved the brie, homemade chips, and generous portions, and that we could sort the toastie. We’ll pass your praise to Hannah and the rest of the team and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Strolled down for a Sunday roast at 5pm and we thought we'd be too late but we were delighted when the bar man said they were still doing food. Bray has been missing a nice pub to go to on a Sunday for a decent Sunday roast. This was phenomenal. The beef was cooked perfectly, it was so juicy, the mash was creamy, the Yorkshire pud with stuffing inside was genius and the gravy was plentiful. The veg on the side was mindblowing, including Cheesy cauliflower, greenbeans and carrots! Honestly the best roast we've had in ages. My husband got the turkey and ham which was also delicious. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming too. And bonus..... the barman Bruno is an Arsenal fan 🥳 We've booked a table to go back next Sunday! Thanks guys.

Response from the owner

Thank you so much for the fantastic review, Jen. We’re thrilled you enjoyed the Sunday roast — especially the beef, creamy mash, stuffed Yorkshire pudding, gravy and veg — and that your husband loved the turkey and ham too. I’ll pass your kind words to the kitchen and to Bruno and the rest of the team. We can’t wait to welcome you both back next Sunday.
